Ah, December 1st! Time to get my yearly dose of Lego Star Wars 🙂 For the fourth or fifth time in a row, my wife was so lovely to surprise me with this awesome gift – again! I love these calendars, the models, the daily surprises. It’s just great!

Opening this post, I would like to take a look back at the recent years and give you a brief  overview of my Mini-Fig and Mini-Models collection that I have built so far (and which has earned a permanent spot in our living room cabinet). Check this out:

After collecting these for quite a few years now, here is a pretty cool diorama showing Santa Darth and Luke fighting while Santa C-3PO and Christmas Chewbacca are watching. I love it 🙂

Now, for this year, I decided to create little timelapse building videos of these models for my blog. So, without further ado, let’s get started!

Day 1 – The Ghost

Today, on day 1, Lego gave us an amazing Ghost mini model. If you are only familiar with the lego movies, you probably won’t recognize this model, as it is a space ship that originates from the Star Wars Rebels Cartoons (read more about the “original” here).

Definitely a nice build, a cool mini model and a great start for this year’s Lego Star Wars Holiday Season 🙂

Day 2 – Sabine Wren

On day 2 Lego spoiles us with a beautiful Sabine Wren minifig. So, yet another surprise from Star Wars Rebels. I definitely appreciate that Lego is thinking a bit outside the box and broadens my Star Wars Lore knowledge as I am not very familiar with the Rebels spin off so far. Day 3 – The Phantom

Both Days 1 and 2 gave us models from the Rebels Spin Off. Day 3 is no exception, as it brings us the Phantom! Check out this link to learn more about the lore behin the Phantom mini model!

Day 4 – Blaster Cannon

Today, Lego gives a generic, but still pretty sweet blaster cannon. Nice one, and the first mini model not specifically tied to the Rebels Spin Off! Thumbs up 🙂

Day 5 – Taslin Brance

Ah, it’s finally here: A mini figure that originates from the main series. Taslin Brance from Episode 7! Let’s see if we’ll get yet another Episode 7 model tomorrow…

Day 6 – First Order Atmospheric Assault Lander

Yes! Finally, a mini model from Episode 7. Saint Nicholas Day brings us this beautiful, 25 pieces First Order Assault Lander. I love it! How about you?

Due to personal reasons I had to discontinue the VLOG for this years LEGO advent calender. I had a lot of fun creating the videos for the first week. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. New try next year 🙂
